This early American coloring page shows what an early Blacksmith shop might have looked like. Almost every town needed at least one Blacksmith to
create metal objects and create the needed horse shoes.
As the new American Colonies grew in population there was a constant need for the creation of goods and services needed by the new colonies.
Tradesmen and home craftsmen alike found their services in great demand. As towns and states grew there began the need for common social
services such as policemen, firemen, mail carriers, lamp lighters and town criers. In addition the butcher, baker, blacksmith, and candle
maker were always in high demand.
